Sailing Through Crete’s Secret Beaches and Scenic Waters
Our journey begins with a visit to the famous Seitan Limania Beach, one of the most iconic and photogenic spots in Crete. Surrounded by towering cliffs, the beach’s
striking turquoise waters and dramatic scenery make it a perfect first stop for a swim
or a chance to snap some stunning photos.
Next, we head towards Ombrogialos, a serene and quiet bay tucked between the
rugged cliffs. The calm, deep waters make this a fantastic spot for swimming and snorkeling, while the peaceful atmosphere is perfect for relaxation away from the
crowds.
We continue our journey towards Drepano, a scenic headland that offers panoramic
views of the surrounding coastline. Take in the stunning vistas and enjoy a refreshing
swim in its crystal-clear waters, perfect for those looking to cool off while exploring
this untouched corner of Crete.
Our next stop is Koutalas Bay, a secluded gem surrounded by striking natural rock formations and sea caves. The bay is ideal for adventurous swimming and exploring the caves or simply basking in the quiet beauty of this hidden paradise.
We then head to Marathi Island, a peaceful spot known for its crystal-clear waters
and sandy beach. Here, you can relax on the shore, enjoy a swim, or indulge in a
delicious lunch at one of the island’s charming beachfront tavernas. Marathi is the
perfect place to unwind in a serene environment.
After that, we cruise over to Sosorides, a lesser-known spot with calm waters,
perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The peaceful setting provides a great
opportunity to explore underwater life and relax in nature’s tranquility.
Next, we make our way to Admiral Island, a small island full of history and stunning
natural beauty. Named for its distinctive shape, Admiral Island offers breathtaking
views and is a great place to drop anchor, swim, and enjoy the peaceful environment.
*Next stop is Kalami offers the perfect end to your journey—a peaceful, secluded
spot with clear waters and picturesque scenery. Enjoy a swim or relax by the shore,
soaking in the beauty of the island before we make our way back.
* Our final stop is Ai Yiannis, a picturesque coastal area near a small chapel, offering
panoramic views of the surrounding sea and hills. This quiet location is perfect for
reflecting on the day’s journey and enjoying the calm before returning to Souda.
